Once upon a time, in a dense forest, a jackal was roaming in search of food when he accidentally stumbled into a pool filled with blue dye. At first, he was frightened and confused by what had happened, but soon he noticed something remarkable. His fur had turned a bright, striking shade of blue. Instead of panicking, the jackal saw an opportunity. This strange new color, he thought, might give him the power and respect he had always wanted.
With a bold new plan in mind, the jackal marched confidently into the heart of the forest. Animals of all kinds looked at him in shock and awe. None of them had ever seen a creature like this before. “I am a special creation sent by the gods to rule over this forest,” the jackal declared. His commanding tone and bizarre appearance were convincing enough. The animals, uncertain and impressed by his words and appearance, accepted him as their king.
Enjoying the sudden power, the jackal began to make demands. He ordered the other animals to bring him food and treat him with great honor. He acted as if he were superior, showing no kindness or gratitude. His arrogance grew with each passing day, and the animals, though uncomfortable, obeyed out of fear. They no longer saw him as a fellow creature but as a ruler above them.
However, lies do not last forever. One day, while walking near the edge of the forest, the jackal came across a group of wild dogs. These dogs were not fooled by his appearance. They instantly recognized him for what he truly was: just another jackal covered in dye. Startled and panicked, the jackal let out a loud howl as he tried to flee. That single howl was all it took. The other animals, who had been nearby, heard the sound and realized the truth.
The illusion was shattered. The blue color no longer mattered, because now they knew who he really was. Furious that they had been misled, the animals turned on the jackal. They chased him out of the forest and stripped him of his false title. Humiliated and rejected, the jackal had no choice but to flee and hide, ashamed of what he had done.
Deceit may bring temporary power, but the truth always comes to light. The jackal's story is a reminder that dishonesty might help you rise quickly, but it will never help you stay on top. Only truth and integrity can build lasting respect.
