Summary of Doraemon Feature Movies
Movie 1 - Doraemon: Nobita's Dinosaur
The story begins when Suneo shows off a fossilized dinosaur claw, refusing to let Nobita see it. Upset, Nobita returns home and accidentally discovers a fossilized dinosaur egg. Using Doraemon’s Time Cloth, he restores the egg to its original state and sends it back 100 million years into the past. The egg hatches into a baby Futabasaurus, whom Nobita names Pisu. Nobita and Doraemon secretly raise Pisu until it grows too large to live inside the house. They release Pisu into a lake at a nearby park, but the dinosaur is soon discovered by scientists. Realizing the danger, Doraemon and Nobita decide to return Pisu to the Late Cretaceous period. However, they are pursued by a group of time-traveling dinosaur hunters led by the wealthy villain Dollmanstein, who attempts to capture Pisu.
After successfully returning Pisu to the correct era, the group realizes they have arrived in North America instead of ancient Japan. They travel across the prehistoric land bridge connecting the continents while encountering dangerous dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus rex and Pteranodon, all while being chased by the hunters.
In the final confrontation, Nobita and Doraemon manage to rescue their friends, safely return Pisu to ancient Japan, and defeat the dinosaur poaching organization with the help of the Time Patrol.
Movie 2 - Doraemon: The Records of Nobita, Spaceblazer
Nobita and Doraemon encounter visitors from the Purple Planet through a space portal beneath their house and help them return home safely. Through these new friends, they learn about the peaceful history of the Purple Planet and the cruelty of their enemies from the Black Planet.
When their usual playground is taken over by older students, Doraemon invites everyone to play soccer on the Purple Planet. However, the planet’s weaker gravity makes playing difficult, and attacks from the Black Planet force Shizuka, Suneo, and Gian to retreat.
Due to the low gravity, Nobita and Doraemon gain extraordinary strength on the Purple Planet and repeatedly come to its defense. Enraged, the leader of the Black Planet hires a silver-haired assassin named Xoxi and plants a time bomb known as the X Bomb to destroy the planet. Attempts to kill Doraemon and Nobita also fail.
When Ropull infiltrates the Black Planet’s base, Chami asks Doraemon and Nobita for help. Although the space gate drifts away after an explosion, they press on and infiltrate the enemy base. During the chase, Doraemon accidentally uses the Time Cloth on the bomb, stopping it from detonating.
In the end, the Black Planet forces are arrested by the Space Police. Doraemon and Nobita bid farewell to their friends from the Purple Planet and return home as the space portal disappears.
