On his journey, Blake came across a massive rock shaped like a man. To his astonishment, it spoke. “I admire your bravery, but turn back. You’re no match for that monster. I once tried, and this stone is all that remains of me.” Blake didn’t flinch. “So should I let my people burn while I stand by and do nothing?” he replied firmly. Impressed, the stone figure gave him a clue: seek the Sage on Stone Island, the only one who knew how to defeat the dragon. The path there, however, could only be found by speaking with an old man in a place called Apple Hollow.
After days of pushing through thick forests and wild terrain, Blake reached Apple Hollow. The old man welcomed him, touched by his courage, and revealed the next steps. “To reach Stone Island, you must go to the coast. There is a cave guarded by a green-eyed tiger. Defeat it, and you’ll find a magical boat. Sail eastward, toward the sunrise. Also, if you can, ask the sage why my apple tree never bears fruit.”
Blake pressed forward, fought the green-eyed tiger in a fierce battle, and finally killed it. Inside the cave, he found the enchanted boat and began his journey across the sea. Day and night, he sailed toward the horizon, driven by hope and purpose. When he arrived on Stone Island, he found an old sage sitting calmly on a rock. Blake bowed and shared his quest.
The sage listened quietly, then said, "To kill the fire dragon, you must strike the gem on its forehead. But be careful, its tail is deadly. As for the apple tree, move it ten paces to the south and it will bear fruit." Grateful, Blake returned home with the wisdom he had gained.
Back in Apple Hollow, he helped the old man dig up the tree. To their amazement, beneath the roots lay a stone chest. Inside was a massive sword, far too heavy to lift. But after they moved the tree as instructed, it immediately blossomed. A golden apple fell to the ground, and the old man insisted that Blake eat it. The moment he did, a surge of power rushed through his body. He picked up the sword with ease, now light in his hands. The old man smiled proudly. "This is the divine sword gifted by the Sage. With this strength, you can defeat the dragon."
Blake returned home and told his wife everything. She refused to let him face danger alone. "If you risk your life for everyone, I will stand beside you," she said. Together, they searched until they found the dragon’s lair, hidden deep in the mountains. Blake hurled a large rock into the cave to lure the creature out. The dragon burst forth, shrouded in thick smoke that made Blake dizzy and blurred his vision. Taking advantage of the moment, the beast circled behind him for a deadly strike.
From a distance, his wife shouted, "Behind you!" Just in time, Blake turned and landed a powerful blow to the dragon’s head. The gem flew from its forehead, glowing with a radiant light. The dragon lunged to retrieve it, but Blake seized it first. Weakened and powerless, the beast tried to flee, but Blake struck again and ended it.
From that moment forward, the land knew peace. The fields turned green, the people smiled once more, and the memory of the fire dragon faded into legend. But the story of Blake, the hero who defeated the fire dragon, was passed down through generations, forever etched in the hearts of those he saved.
